Hello there! 

My Story

I’ve always loved fashion, but have been especially enamored with bridal fashion from a young age. I remember arriving home from elementary school running straight to our home’s sole computer, navigating to Vera Wang’s website to look at her gorgeous gowns. I’d then whip out a sketch book and try to recreate her designs in sketch form. If I wasn’t there, I was playing with the paper dolls in the back of my mom’s Neiman Marcus Big Book or changing my American Girl Doll’s clothes every 30 minutes. Fashion has always been my ultimate creative expression for me, and as I grew older I was focused on one thing and one thing only: becoming a fashion editor at a magazine.

My first role was serendipitously at BRIDES, where I honed my sartorial eye in the form of fashion market work. This meant I had the ultimate pleasure of writing a ton of stories about what to wear to all bridal-related special events. As my ambitions grew beyond the editorial world towards integrated marketing for some of the world’s biggest retailers and consumer brands my love for bridal fashion never waned and I continued to freelance for the likes of Martha Stewart Weddings. 

Now, I’m the go-to bridal and style expert for friends and family. I regularly receive frantic texts like: “What shoes would go well with this dress for this event?” or “What should I wear to my bridal shower?” 

As much as I love luxury and high-fashion, my sweet spot is the attainable stuff. I love nothing more than putting together a look that mixes high and low. Good sales, vintage and thrifting gems, and Rakuten/Honey are my ultimate fuel. I’m driven by a deal, and want to use my pro shopping brain to help everyone feel amazing at any price point.

Most importantly, though, I know how hard it is to find accessible fashion at all sizes and to feel good about yourself when you’re battling any physical or mental challenge. In the past few years, I’ve personally struggled with a battle against endometriosis and have become a fierce advocate for awareness. Living with endometriosis – a disease where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus implants in areas outside of the uterus and causes chronic pain and inflammation – means often-times my body size can change drastically due to abdominal swelling and bloat. It’s incredibly painful and makes it very hard to dress in what I like to call “hard pants.” As a spoonie, I also know that having the energy to even get dressed is a privilege. I want to help the millions of other people who go through a similar experience of chronic illness feel their best always – no matter what physical challenge they’re facing.
